The dream becomes a reality
The first living wall in a Quebec health care facility was officially unveiled at the Bon séjour long term care facility in Gatineau on March 2nd, 2017. It was wonderful to see so many people join us for the inauguration ceremony.
The volunteer technical team who devoted many hours of their time and expertise to build the living wall were on hand to see the results of all their hard work.
The board members of the Forget For A Moment Foundation were delighted to see their vision become a reality after five years of hard work. They were joined by members of the Santé Gatineau Foundation and its partners, and some of the Bon séjour Centre residents.
Foundation President Jeannine Lafrenière acknowledged the efforts and dedication of everyone who was involved in bringing the wall to life and expressed her hope that this will be the first of more to come.
