The Forget for a Moment Foundation is launching a fundraising campaign for the creation of a living wall measuring more than 27 sq. meters (300 sq. ft.). It will be installed in the Services for Seniors waiting room of the Orléans Health Hub, whose opening is scheduled for the summer of 2021.
This wall will be the first of its kind in Canada in that the design represents a Monarch butterfly wing with coloured blown glass bubbles at the tips. This will also be the first Ontario project for the Foundation and will serve seniors who suffer so much during the current pandemic.
Our objective is to collect $100,000. To do this, the Foundation is issuing a novel invitation – supporters are asked to buy one or more pieces of a jigsaw puzzle of the living wall.
